We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team as a full-time maternity cover from early 2025 for a period of 7-8 months. We’re a growing company and if you’re the right match and the timing is right, then we might even be able to extend the leave into a full-time position when the time comes.
At Klimate we’re here to make sure that good money isn’t wasted on bad offsets. We’re on a mission to accelerate the development of carbon removal methods and technologies needed to reverse climate change and we need your help to make that happen! We’re a tight-knit team of 23 people from all over the world, motivated by the mission we’re on. We put time and effort into what we do, but are definitely not “all work and no play”. We have fun along the way and work in that sweet spot between work and life based on the understanding that the fight against climate change is a marathon and not a sprint.
What you’ll be doing:
You will report to our VP of Marketing (for a bit at least as she is the one going on leave) and work closely with all commercial team members across sales and marketing. Our CCO will be your direct manager while our VP is away. Your workday will consist of customer acquisition efforts, executing on our demand generation strategy as well as managing cross-channel programmes.
Your day-to-day:
- Demand generation: You’ll take charge of our customer acquisition programs, designing, managing, and optimizing performance-based campaigns across paid social, search, and other digital surfaces. Using your understanding of our target customer, you’ll maximize campaign performance through clever audience segmentation and relevant content selection.
- Engagement: You’ll design, build, and optimize high-performance email journeys that excite and inform prospective clients throughout the funnel, from first contact to booking a meeting.
- Web experience: You’ll create smooth, compelling web journeys to attract and convert curious website visitors. Partnering with our UX designer and content writer, you’ll continually optimize marketing landing page experiences.
- Content production: Work closely with rest of marketing team to produce compelling assets optimized for all devices and formats - and most importantly conversion.
- Data-informed decision-making: You will monitor and report on campaign performance, making data-informed decisions to continually improve our marketing efforts. You’ll bring a test and learn approach to program development, iterating rapidly to scale winning strategies.
- Partner marketing program: Act as contact person with our marketing partners within the space suggesting new collaborative opportunities as well as sharing relevant updates from our side.
What we need from you:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B growth marketing, specializing in demand generation and customer acquisition.
- Proven track record in managing performance-based paid media campaigns, with hands-on expertise in Google and LinkedIn Ads.
- Practical experience in optimizing web and mobile landing pages, including building pages using Webflow.
- Proficient in leveraging HubSpot’s tools for marketing automation and CRM management.
