Your mission

As our new Carbon Removal Supply Lead, you will build and own the systems, data, and market intelligence of our carbon supply sourcing. You will strengthen sourcing as a function and enable strategic and commercial decision-making grounded in strong supplier relationships, accurate market information, and well-governed internal data.

You will sit within the Sourcing team and report directly to Matt Averna, Head of Markets & Policy.

What you'll do

In the first 3–6 months, you will:

• Become fluent in Klimate’s sourcing priorities, supplier base, and contracting approach for carbon removal projects.
• Independently prepare for and contribute to supplier meetings, using structured data and clear market context.
• Support and share responsibility for approximately 60–70% of supplier meetings, preparing materials and ensuring learnings are captured in internal systems.
• Manage projects and contracts in Klimate’s administrative inventory system, coordinating with internal stakeholders where needed.
• Take ownership of existing supplier and project data across sourcing systems, ensuring it is well structured, consistent, and up-to-date.

As you grow into the role, you will:

• Own the ongoing development and governance of Klimate’s sourcing database, ensuring it reliably supports day-to-day sourcing and strategic decision-making.
